hour and walk 2 ½ hours to Pang-Tong” Karen village, lunch
along the way on top of mountains, then start walking 2 ½ hours
along small river. Stay overnight at “Pang-Tong” Village,
join local activities with villagers such as rice husking, ride water
buffalos, rice farming (depends on season), dinner followed by folk
music Option 2: (easy walk) Start walking 1 hour to water fall (small but
clean water, you can swim 3 m. dept, lunch break here. Return to Pang-Tong
village, continue 2 hours walk to Lisu village “Mae-E-Lap”,

In the year 2000 I graduated from Ratchabaj University as a science teacher. I love teaching children very much so I did it for a while. One day I found that something interested me more, so I have taken that chance, taking a tourist guide course in Chiangmai University to obtain a TAT license to become a professional tour guide. I have started a new career as a trekking guide in Chiangmai since 2001 for local companies in Chiangmai until recently. Now I’m working as a freelance guide for the World’s famous tour company, which is located in Bangkok. I have worked in Bangkok and Chiangmai, then went on to do trekkings, elephant riding, bamboo rafting, etc. As many years have passed, I have gained more more experience from work. Inside I’m a man from the Jungle, I like to challenge myself and you guys who are interested in trekking: not just a tourist package but a REAL JUNGLE TREK, by cooking your own meal in bamboo containers, making our own bamboo raft, teaching English to children in the small villages, learning things from people living in the jungle, the food, the trees, the animals…etc. I and my good friends run this trip together as a team. We are all Karen men, we love trekking as a way of live. We can show you REAL JUNGLE LIFE and we have so many things to entertain you too. We do not sell this tour to tourists who join these trips just for quick fun and holiday pastime. We prefer our new friends to have a heart for REAL JUNGLE BOY EXPERIENCES!!!! In the near future I will set up a new route for trekking to my home town “OM-KOI” by local bus with more trekking days. Now, I have two easy trips for you guys to kick your foot and start up with us; LET’S ENJOY LIFE IN THE JUNGLE TOGETHER!!!
